Donnie McClellan
Donnie started hunting and fishing at a young age. He has lived in this area most of his life. Donnie saw the potential for taking clients on hunts and started Bucks and Beards in 1997 a part time basis. The business quickly grew to full time and continues to grow each year. “It is really enjoyable to see a client succeed while hunting with us” says Donnie. My whole family is involved in the business in some aspect and we all have fun doing what we do. Donnie’s son’s, Taylor and Cameron have both helped guide since age 13. “They are a huge part of our success!”  Donnie also is an agent and pro-staff member for Whitetail Trophy Properties, specializing in selling land in the Midwest.

Taylor McClellan
At 23 years old Taylor McClellan has been part of Bucks and Beards for about half of his life. He graduated college in 2008 and is currently a pro-staff member and real estate agent for Whitetail Trophy Properties licensed and selling in Missouri and Kansas. Along with work he is pursuing a general MBA degree part-time. Taylor has grown up hunting in the Midwest and looks to further those experiences in a career with Whitetail Properties. “I enjoy the outfitting business and feel that my involvement in it at a young age helped me realize my career path. Now when I’m not guiding I’m still involved in the outdoor industry with hunter s and landowners selling real estate. I love what I do and consider myself very lucky to play a part in helping people obtain their dream buck or property.”

Cameron McClellan
Cameron is a junior at Northwest Missouri State University majoring in business marketing. He has been a huge part of the success of Bucks and Beards. He has guided turkey hunts since age 13. Cameron, guides as well as, takes care of the food plots and equipment needs of the business. When he’s not in school, working, hunting or fishing, you can find him racing his dirt bike at local moto-cross tracks.
